Follow these steps to direct a “parked” domain in your GoDaddy account (one that is not currently associated with a website) to your primary website URL.
Example: Your primary website domain is MyAwesomeCompany.com. You also own the domain MyCompanyIsAwesome.com and want to direct any traffic that goes to that parked domain to your website (MyAwesomeCompany.com).
1. From your GoDaddy Domain Manager, select the domain you want to forward by clicking Add in the Forwarding Column.
2. In the popup window, click Domain.
3. Enter the name of the new domain and click Add when finished. Keep the other settings as shown.
Congratulations! Your parked domain will now be forwarded to the URL you specified above!
Remember: DNS propagation takes time to update throughout the Internet. You may see your update in as little as 1-2 hours, but sometimes – in rare instances – it can take up to 24-48 hours.
